The choir is a great opportunity to sing, socialise and meet new people (many of us head to the pub after each choir practice!). With the sessions being up-beat and led by an experienced vocal tutor, you're bound to have a fantastic time.

Vanessa Thomas - Our choir leader:

Vanessa is an experienced choir leader, professional singer, music educator and pianist with a passion for helping students of all ages and abilities realise their musical potential and goals.

Her careeer has seen her in the roles of musical director and conductor of numerous choirs, which have performed at major venues & festivals such as The Royal Festival Hall, Brighton Dome and Paddle Round the Pier, as well as being featured on TV and radio.

Vanessa is excited and enthusiastic about rehearsing with Soul of the City Choir and welcomes everyone to come along... throughout her years of teaching she has not yet met anyone who truly cannot sing!
